How important are dental practice reviews?
Dental practice reviews matter! I would say that dental practice reviews are pretty important, providing that, they are genuine. Previously, choosing a good dental practice involved an element of luck. However, now with, the advent of technology, you can research the practice you are interested in.
Dental practice reviews – The TripAdvisor culture
I don’t book any holiday without checking out the reviews of the hotel on TripAdvisor, or a similar site. To me this is important.
As a result, I try to read the real holiday maker reviews, as opposed to the hotel sales pitch. Therefore, I feel more comfortable when making the booking; knowing that other people have enjoyed their stay.
With this in mind, choosing a dental practice is no different. It’s important that patients are aware of what other patients think. Positive and negative experiences count! Nobody wants to attend a dental practice with faulty equipment, unfriendly receptionists or dentists. Even more importantly, the practice’s own website is unlikely to say this about themselves. I believe what real people say, and it’s nice that our patients have this opportunity to do so too.
Google Street View
Our practice is in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. It’s a lovely part of the world. A lovely village, tree lined streets and a beautiful high street.
However, don’t take my word for it. You can use google street view to check out our practice surroundings. I often use google street view when looking at businesses I wish to use to get an idea of their locality.
Google Reviews
Google reviews cannot be easily removed; therefore, they are pretty representative. Read our google reviews, or the reviews of any dental practice you are considering. Firstly, check out the practice website. Secondly, take a look at the review sites mentioned above. Therefore, you can build your own picture of the practice. Thirdly, it is also wise to ask friends and families for recommendations too.
Sound good? Finally, pop in visit the practice. Speak to the reception team. If the practice has a treatment coordinator, speak to them. As a result, this will all help you make a decision and choose the right dentist for you.
