Dr Hardeep Sahota is a GDC-registered Specialist Periodontist with advanced expertise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, peri-implant disease, and complex periodontal surgery. He combines evidence-based clinical skill with a calm, supportive approach, ensuring patients feel comfortable while receiving world-class specialist care.

• MClinDent in Periodontology with Distinction, Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (2019–2022)
• M Perio RCSEd & CCST in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2022)

His outstanding academic achievements earned him a place on the Dean’s List at UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

Clinical Expertise

Hardeep accepts internal and external referrals at Rock Dental for all aspects of periodontology, including:

• Non-surgical and surgical management of periodontitis
• Regenerative and resective periodontal surgery
• Cosmetic periodontal surgery (crown lengthening, mucogingival surgery)
• Management of peri-implant diseases
• Multidisciplinary planning for restorative and implant cases

He has managed a vast range of complex cases, from functional rehabilitation of severe gum disease to cosmetic periodontal treatments for smile enhancement.

Professional Contributions

Beyond clinical practice, Hardeep is dedicated to advancing the profession:

• Clinical teaching and supervision of postgraduate periodontology trainees
• Honorary Clinical Tutor at Birmingham Dental Hospital in Periodontology and Oral Medicine
• Teaching of undergraduate students, GDPs, GMPs, and specialty trainees in prosthodontics and endodontics
• Led teaching on dental emergencies for hospital doctors and registrars
• Joint lead investigator on new research projects at Eastman Dental Institute
• Published research on peri-implant diseases for the ITI (International Team for Implantology)

He has also presented his work internationally, including at the International Association for Dental Research (USA), the British Association of Oral Surgeons, and national audit competitions.
