Dr Kristlee Fernandes is a highly experienced Specialist Endodontist, known for his expertise in managing complex and previously failed root canal treatments, as well as his calm, solutions-focused approach to patient care. He has been a valued part of the Rock Dental team for nearly a decade, commuting more than 85 miles each way – a true reflection of his dedication to the practice, its patients, and its people.

Clinical Expertise

Kristlee completed his BDS in 2003 and his MDS in Conservative Dentistry, Endodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry in 2007. He is listed on the GDC Specialist Register in Endodontics and has further trained in implantology with the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD).

His areas of expertise include:

• Complex root canal treatments and re-treatments
• Retrieval of separated endodontic instruments

One defining moment in Kristlee’s career came after surviving a serious accident. Just 19 days later, despite multiple fractures and a long commute, he completed a complex root canal treatment – a testament to his resilience, determination, and deep commitment to his patients.

Alongside clinical practice, Kristlee actively mentors foundation dentists and early-career clinicians. He is respected by colleagues for his approachable style and willingness to share his knowledge, often participating in complex case discussions and guiding treatment planning.
