With over eight years of experience in dentistry, Leah Roper is a skilled and compassionate dental nurse who plays a vital role in supporting patients and clinicians at Rock Dental. She is known for her calm, reassuring manner and her dedication to making every patient feel comfortable, particularly those who are anxious about treatment.

Professional Journey

Leah qualified as a dental nurse in 2017 through Performance Through People and has since gained extensive experience across general and specialist dentistry. She has worked closely with clinicians in oral surgery, implantology, endodontics, and periodontics, developing strong knowledge across multiple disciplines.

Her career has also included a management role, which gave her valuable insight into leadership, organisation, and the importance of teamwork in delivering excellent patient care. One of her proudest achievements has been successfully assisting in sedation cases, helping patients overcome their fears and receive treatment with confidence.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as keeping active through regular gym sessions. She is also committed to giving back to the community, donating regularly to local food banks that support homeless shelters. In 2023, she completed a charity skydive for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising vital funds while taking on a personal challenge she describes as “incredible – and slightly terrifying!”
