Dr Vishal Klaire is a highly skilled dentist with a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment). He is passionate about saving teeth, relieving pain, and helping patients overcome anxieties about what is often considered one of dentistry’s most daunting procedures.

Clinical Journey

Vishal graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and spent five years working in a busy, high-needs NHS practice. With no local referral pathways for root canal treatment, he quickly developed his endodontic skills, managing increasingly complex cases while building strong communication and empathy with patients.

He went on to spend two years in mixed NHS and private practice in Birmingham, before committing fully to endodontics in 2019. He has since undertaken postgraduate training in the field and today works across 14 practices throughout the Midlands, providing advanced endodontic care and accepting referrals.

• Root canal treatment and re-treatment

• Use of advanced magnification with a portable microscope
• Interdisciplinary care alongside orthodontics and prosthodontics
• Endodontic education and CPD delivery

Vishal is also proud of his Principles of Endodontics lecture series, which he has delivered at national conferences, helping general dentists build confidence in diagnosing and managing endodontic emergencies.

Life at Rock Dental

Vishal joined Rock Dental in 2025 and describes the practice as “a family that combines innovation with genuine care.” He values the collaborative, supportive environment and the opportunity to deliver patient-centred care alongside a progressive multi-specialist team. A standout memory for him was the warm welcome he received when joining – something that reaffirmed he had found a team that shares his ethos of integrity, development, and excellence.

Beyond Dentistry

Away from practice, Vishal enjoys cricket, badminton, and spending quality time with his wife and son. He has a passion for astronomy and astrophotography, often exploring the cosmos with his telescope and capturing images such as the rings of Saturn.

He has also climbed Ben Nevis, an achievement he likens to his professional journey – demanding persistence, adaptability, and focus, with the most rewarding moments following the hardest climbs.

Giving back is central to Vishal’s values. He has provided dental care to small communities in Punjab, India, and describes these experiences as humbling reminders of the social responsibility held by clinicians.
