For over 30 years, Faye Vaughan has been the warm, welcoming face of Rock Dental. Joining the practice in 1991 at just 15, Faye has grown with the team and today serves as our Lead Receptionist and Referral Coordinator. Her dedication, compassion, and professionalism make her the heartbeat of our practice.

A Career Rooted in Care

Faye qualified as a dental nurse in 2000 and built a strong clinical background in sedation, root canal therapy and four-handed dentistry. Although she now leads our front of house, that experience continues to shape the care she provides, helping her to understand patients’ needs and anxieties on a deeper level.

Leading Reception with Warmth

As Head Receptionist and Safeguarding Lead, Faye ensures every patient’s journey starts with a reassuring smile and a calm, professional welcome. She coordinates diaries, manages referrals, and mentors new team members – setting the tone for the whole practice. Many patients know Faye by name, trusting her as the first voice on the phone and the familiar face that guides them through their visits.

Supporting Referrals and Growth

In her role as Referral Coordinator, Faye manages relationships with more than 70 practices across the region. She personally visits referring teams, builds strong professional connections, and ensures referred patients experience seamless care from their first contact to their follow-up appointments. Her work has been central to establishing Rock Dental as a leading specialist referral centre.

Community and Compassion

Faye’s care extends far beyond the desk. She organises charity collections, supports food banks, and leads fundraising initiatives for causes close to her heart, including dementia and cancer support. She also visits nurseries and schools to promote children’s oral health and takes part in community awareness events.

Outside of Dentistry

Away from Rock Dental, Faye is a proud mum who balances family life with caring for her parents. She enjoys camping, military shows, gardening, and painting with her daughter – as well as spending time with family and friends.
