Since qualifying from the University of Manchester in 2017, Dr Simran Bains has established herself as one of the most dynamic and inspiring young dentists in the UK. With a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Invisalign, and the treatment of nervous patients, she combines technical skill with compassion and care.

Passionate about education and mentoring, Simran lectures for Birmingham University, Cardiff University, and at national conferences such as the BDIA and the British Undergraduate Research Conference.

She also holds key leadership roles:

• Secretary – College of Dentistry, West Midlands Division
• Former Chair of Young Membership – BACD

In these roles, she has helped organise national events, young dentist study clubs, sponsorship initiatives, and hands-on training opportunities for early-career dentists.

Community & Charity

At Rock Dental, Simran has taken part in numerous community projects, including oral cancer awareness campaigns, charity runs for Cancer Research, food bank donations, and local school visits to promote children’s oral health. She values making a difference both inside and outside the practice.

Simran joined Rock Dental in 2019 and loves working in a multi-specialist, collaborative team. She particularly values the support of colleagues across disciplines and the positive culture that makes the practice a welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Some of her most rewarding memories involve the team uniting for community causes – reflecting the genuine care that defines Rock Dental.

Outside Dentistry

Outside of her professional life, Simran enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, baking (she admits to having a sweet tooth), and spending time with her dog, Mylo. She also loves keeping fit and believes in the philosophy that “a person should have three hobbies: one to keep you creative, one to keep you in shape, and one to make you money.”
