Dr Prakash Parekh (known to patients and colleagues as Kash) joined Rock Dental in 2022 and has quickly become an important member of our clinical team. With a special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, short-term orthodontics, and the management of tooth wear, Kash combines clinical precision with a friendly, approachable manner that puts patients at ease.

Clinical Expertise

Kash graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and has since completed further qualifications including:

• MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh
• Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry
• Level 2 year-long course in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry
• Certified Bioclear Practitioner

His areas of special interest include aesthetic and restorative treatments, Invisalign Go and ClearCorrect orthodontics, Bioclear composite techniques, dental photography, and the treatment of both localised and generalised tooth wear. He particularly enjoys helping patients with advanced wear cases regain both function and confidence in their smiles.

Teaching and Mentoring

Alongside his clinical work, Kash has been an Educational Supervisor with Health Education England for over 11 years, mentoring and guiding newly qualified dentists through their early careers. He is passionate about sharing knowledge, encouraging high standards, and helping others grow in confidence.

Life at Rock Dental

Kash joined Rock Dental in September 2022 and values the supportive, team-driven environment. He particularly appreciates working with experienced colleagues across specialisms, supported by the latest digital technology, excellent materials, and outstanding laboratories. One of his most memorable experiences so far has been completing his first full mouth rehabilitation for a very nervous patient – an achievement made possible by the collaborative and patient-centred culture of Rock Dental.

Beyond Dentistry

Outside the practice, Kash is a keen sports enthusiast, with passions for football, cricket, and cycling. He is actively involved in his local cricket club and gives back to the community through Science of Spirituality, a charity group where he helps run youth activities, sports days, food festivals, and children’s events. Above all, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
