Dr Adam Baxter joined Rock Dental in 2024 and is part of our growing team of talented young clinicians. Since qualifying from the University of Bristol in 2020, Adam has been building his skills in general dentistry while developing special interests in tooth wear, full mouth rehabilitation, appliances, and digital dentistry.

Clinical Interests

Adam has quickly raised his standards of care to a high level, motivated by a commitment to delivering dentistry he would be proud to provide to his own family. He has invested personally in advanced digital tools, including his own iTero scanner and 3D printer, and is passionate about using technology to improve diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes.

He is particularly interested in the management of tooth wear and is eager to take on more complex restorative cases, combining his clinical curiosity with the support of Rock Dental’s specialist-led team.

Patient-Centred Care

Adam places great value on building relationships with patients. For him, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is when patients return to see him, remembering their conversations and feeling confident in the care he provides. He takes time to explain options clearly, involve patients in their treatment planning, and help them feel reassured throughout their journey.

Professional Goals

Adam’s vision for the future is ambitious. He aims to continue learning from leading clinicians worldwide, with the goal of training at the prestigious Kois Centre in Seattle. Ultimately, he aspires to own his own practice, expand his expertise in digital and restorative dentistry, and develop into a rounded clinician capable of taking on the most complex cases.

Working alongside Rock Dental’s multi-specialist team has been a highlight for Adam, giving him the opportunity to learn directly from highly experienced colleagues and collaborate on multidisciplinary cases. He values the supportive culture, the chance to work to the highest standards, and the warm environment that makes both staff and patients feel cared for.

Outside Dentistry

Away from the dental chair, Adam has a wide range of interests. He is a lifelong Sunderland AFC supporter and enjoys professional wrestling, model building, reading, films, comic books, music, and video games. His personal philosophy is simple but powerful: always try your hardest, treat people as you would your own family, and be honest and transparent.
